April Foodie Penpal Reveal.

Since it’s the end of April, I have to reveal my Foodie Penpal for this month! Some of you may remember me mentioning this in the beginning of April. I got a lot of yummy treats I must share with you!
My penpal was the lovely Debbie of Accidently Delish! After sharing with her some of my favorite things (one being chocolate and peanut butter…because who doesn’t love that perfect combination?) she sent me a plethora of yumminess. The box she sent over was filled with SO many goodies!
I loved the chocolate sunflower seed butter from Wild Squirrel. She put it in a little mason looking jar for me to try. I loved eating it on top of a toasted english muffin! It made for the perfect breakfast. I can’t wait to track this down and get some off of OpenSky!
I also enjoyed the dark chocolate peanut butter wafer cookies from Trader Joe’s. Since we don’t have a TJ’s here in Dallas yet anything from that store is such a treat! I leave these in my office drawer at work for whenever I’m craving something sweet and decadent.
I also got some toffee peanuts, Puffins peanut butter cereal, edamame crackers, butter toffee sunflower kernels, and southwest trail mix. This girl really hit it out of the ballpark with all of my faves!
Overall I really enjoyed the foodie penpal program and look forward to doing it again in the near future! I really enjoyed getting to connect with the blogging world on that kind of level. There are so many amazing bloggers out there with great snack ideas…so many healthy alternatives to choose from!
Thanks again Debbie, you are my favorite! 🙂
If you are interested in joining this program, go holler at Lindsay over at The Lean Green Bean and sign up!
Have you ever done the foodie penpals program? If so, what kind of yummy snacks did you get? What is your favorite healthy salty and/or sweet snack?

  1. Those wafer cookies sound/look amazing!! I’m also curious about the edamame crackers. Never had any, but they sound intriguing. Looks like a great package!
