TGIFriday Faves.

That day we all know and love, Friday, has rolled around yet again. I am so excited for its arrival! I have to admit that I need a little sunshine in my life this weekend. I am looking forward to a morning long run tomorrow with the Luke’s crew, some poolside time with the girls, getting my hair did and a birthday party.
Here are some things I’m loving on this fabulous Friday…
Bright running shirts & skirts
Recently I did a post about running in the summer heat and I mentioned some of the types of workout clothes I like to wear specifically in the summertime. I love wearing bright bright colors when I am running in a heat wave! I try to stay away from cotton and heavy/dark fabrics and I think it makes a big difference. I got this Nike skirt at the consignment store for $18! I love that it is lightweight and comfortable.
I like to wear it with this sleeveless top I purchased at Target for a great deal. It is made of that material that absorbs the sweat and moisture, which I think is a total MUST when working out! They had lots of other fun colors as well.
Raspberry lemonade G2
I am definitely going to be drinking this on my long runs all summer. Best G2 flavor hands down.
So, yesterday was my first time going to the chiro. I was totally nervous about it since ever since I can remember my mom has been going to one for her back issues. They would crack her bones all the time and it sounded so painful! After hearing so many good reviews I went to check it out to see what all the fuss was about. I have to tell you now that I am such a fan! The doc is also a triathlete and understands how a runner’s body works. He made some adjustments to my hips and also did some active release therapy (ART). He also gave me some strengthening exercises I could do on my own! I felt AMAZING afterwards! Is this stuff like magic or what? I am going back next week…looking forward to more time with this magician chiropractor man. Work your magic on me, chiro.
I did some research only to discover that even the most rockstar running athletes regularly get chiropractic treatments.
Lace, lace, lace
I am loving everything lace right now! I have been pinning everything from lace tops to lace dresses at on my pinterest. I plan on finding this lace tank to pair with some colorful shorts ASAP – with a cami top on under it, obvi.
Nike Free Run
I already own a pair of these shoes in black but definitely need to get my hands on a new pair in a hot summer color. These shoes are flexible, lightweight, and perfect for that local 5 or 10k. I also think they make great cross training shoes. Definitely worth checking out.
I want whatever is in those Tiffany bags…

Preztel crisps with Laughing Cow light cheese – such a great snack! The pretzels are also yummy with hummus and pretty much any other dip.

What’s your favorite guilt-free snack? Favorite summer accessory or color to wear? Doing anything fun this weekend?
