TGIFriday Faves.

Hey hey hey…Happy Friday! Who is looking fwd to the WEEKEND? Just me!? Well ok…
Yesterday I was feeling like burning some rubber on the treadmill…and with the crazy TX heat as of late (yep, the high was close to 105 yesterday!) I knew it was time to take it inside. Since I’m getting ready for a 16 mile long run with the Luke’s crew bright and early Saturday I wanted to do something short and sweet, easy peasy…there you have it.
 
And today…is my REST DAY! Holla!
It’s that time again…to bust it out with all of my favorites as of late…and as we all know my “favorites” change quite often…so here are my faves of the present moment.
*What I’m reading/watchingRecreation & Whimsy‘s post ‘How Bad Do You Want It?’ Such a great inspirational video about relentlessly going after your goals…I can totally relate to this mindset. I think it is the kind of mindset you have to have to be successful, in whatever it is you want to accomplish. Especially when it comes to running marathons…it’s DO or die…and I choose to DO. Because I want that epic marathon finish in October. Bad!
*I am basking in the sun with this stuff – Nutrogena’s ‘Wet Skin’ with SPF 50. I love all sunscreens that you can just mist on and go…this one has been my fave. Especially great for the humidity (the TX humidity has been intense lately!) or if you are active and sweat it out a lot.
*What I’m rocking out to – I know it’s an oldie but the song Kanye West “Power” is my jam. Turn it up and go out and crush your run.
*What I’m eating – Bob’s Red Mill Muesli. This stuff is filling and so delicious! I especially love it with fruit and unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and it’s also really tasty with a little bit of coconut milk! I love eating it cold for breakfast but I hear it’s also really tasty hot like oatmeal.
*What I’m wearing – Sundresses and flip flops. All day every day baby.
*Favorite scent right now – This one has to be a tie btwn Elizabeth Arden’s ‘Pretty’ and Victoria Secret’s ‘Secret Charm’. Love soft, feminine fragrances.
