That quote was dropped in my mailbox this morning. Love a little RW Kick in the Butt.
Monday funday runday…quick and easy 4 miler got me going this morning after teaching an hour of spin cycle.
I haven’t taught my Monday morning spinners in 2 weeks since the holiday season so I was happy to see them and burn up lots o’ calories!
Plus I was so fired up after watching the premiere of The Biggest Loser last night. I almost couldn’t go to bed – I had to pry myself away from the tv screen during the weigh-in at the end. I am loving it already.
This weekend was a fun one, filled with running, brunching and a GNO on Saturday night. It was the boyfriend’s last weekend in Dallas too before he went back to his new home in Houston. I was sad to see him go. I got to be silly with him one last time before he left the big D.
Saturday morning was also the start of coaching a new training season with Luke’s Locker. Fun times with some amazing coaches on the team.
At the start of spring training the new runners do a 3-4 mile evaluation run so we can put them in their pace groups. I ran with some speedy peeps and also did some miles on my own. I will be training the half marathoners who are running this race while I also train for this bad boy on my own.
Got 12 miles in for the day. Running followed by some of the Starbucks new vanilla spice soy chai latte. Good stuff I tell ya.
After the run I had brunch with some more of my ladies over at one of my favorite brunch spots, Sfuzzi (pronouned “foo-zee”. Crazy name right?). My friend and I split this amazing organic veggie pizza with goat cheese. A pic from the last time I was here on the patio…
Pizza post 12 mile run…and mimosas…and girl talk gossip…sheer heaven.
Following a little nap and some down time at home with the BF watching football I went out with these lovelies. We had dinner and then hit the town.
We went to a little spot in Uptown Dallas for karaoke. I love this part of Dallas…there are so many cute shops, bars and boutiques. We parked outside of the gorgeous Hotel Zaza and walked around a bit. I am loving this snazzy pink tree outside of the hotel. Right up my alley.
Overall it was a fun weekend filled with all of my favorite things. Can’t go wrong with that.
Oh and also my PV Body stuff came in. I love these royal blue tights. Wore them this morning for spin class and the run, they are super comfy. I don’t know if I will do the program next month but it’s definitely a nice option to have for comfy, great quality workout clothes. Worth checking out if you have a few dollar bills on ya.
How was your weekend? Did you watch the Biggest Loser last night? Who is your favorite BL trainer?
Seriously love them all…it has to be a tie btwn Jillian and hottie-licious Dolvett.
