Well hello there! Hope you all are having a lovely Tuesday. I was recently contacted by Everlast to review their awesome vegan protein! I don’t know about you but I love having options like this to include in my diet.
I made a delicious post workout smoothie this morning with frozen bananas, frozen cherries, some Everlast and ice cold water. I actually wanted to throw in a little almond milk but I was out of it so decided to just try it with H2O. Success!
I was surprised by how creamy in texture it was and the flavors really worked together.
Here are a few things you should know about Everlast Vegan Protein in case you are looking for an alternative to whey or you are Vegan/Vegetarian.
-Everlast Vegan Protein is easier to digest over the traditional whey proteins.
-Everlast VP is the ultimate plant-based protein mix delivering a complete BCAA profile using the highest grade blend of pea, rice and hemp proteins to promote lean muscle growth and recovery.
-Everlast VP is lactose, gluten, sugar, hormone, GMO and cholesterol free. Plus, it has the best taste of any vegan protein mix we’ve tasted.
-Everlast VP is the ideal solution to vegan/vegetarian body building and for anyone looking to build lean muscle. Each scoop delivers 22g of protein and is only 110 calories.
For me, this is a great option because as far as protein supplements go, I really like to know what is going on in my drink. You feel me? I am not a fan of chemicals and stuff I can’t pronounce and this takes all of the guesswork out. Fun fact about me…I also used to be lactose intolerant as a child so now as a grownup I’m really cognizant of dairy and I know what it does to my system if I have too much. So, for me the vegan protein option is like icing on the cake.
I think this protein is great in smoothies, provides a smooth consistency/texture and actually takes great even in water. I was surprised by the flavor and the fact that it was not chalky at all.
So if you are considering trying out a new protein I definitely recommend this one! Right now they have an offer going- buy 1 bag of Everlast VP get a free box of FUEL free (includes free shipping). Click here to find out more.

Thanks for that review. I have been looking for a good protein shake to buy. I might just give this one a try. I am catching up on your posts. I’ve missed ya.
Oh miss you too Rachel! I hope your NY training is going well…almost game time!
What do you make your smoothie in, would you mind sharing your recipe. I recently tried a different vegan protein and i couldn’t even stomach it.
I have a personal travel blender and you can purchase it from Target or Walmart. This particular smoothie was just banana, cherries, protein & water. Usually I also add cashew or almond milk.
The blender I use is here. http://www.target.com/p/hamilton-beach-14-oz-single-serve-blender-black-51103/-/A-11893664
