Beat the Heat and Running Funnies.

Another fantastic 7 miles done with my running crew. I have to say I think 7 is my magic number lately for running! Or I guess…make that 7.3. A solid hour or so of running crazy early in the morning…does the body good.

I think these morning runs are the number one thing that makes me successful and consistent with training. In the summer (especially in Texas)…the earlier you get up to beat the heat…the better. I’ll take 70s and 80s over 100 degree temps any day. Plus I just feel like I get better quality runs when it’s not so oppressively hot outside. You feel me?!

Today’s run was great and we got some good convo and laughs in while we were at it.

Speaking of laughs…I’ve got some more running funnies for you today…courtesy of Pinterest. Let’s see if you can relate to my common runner struggles. In no particular order…

Oh and my personal favorite…all of these emojis…explaining all of my feelings precisely.
