-You think getting up on a Tuesday morning to run 10 miles sounds like a good idea.
-Most vacations are planned around races. Hence the term RACE-cation…they are absolutely the best.
-You spend a legitimate amount of time during the day looking at running blogs, runner magazines, checking out the latest run gear.
-Too many running shoes? No such thing.
-You see a hill or awesome looking trail and you say to yourself…I’d run that.
-You get slightly envious driving by someone logging the miles on your REST day.
-Most of your friends are probably runners themselves.
-Your non runner friends think you’re absolutely nuts…but somehow they’ve accepted your crazy.
-Getting up at 4 a.m. to get some miles in with friends sounds like a damn fine way to start the day.
-The first thing your coworkers say when they see you in the breakroom is, ‘when’s your next race’?
-You have a budget in place for races, run swag and everything else. Who said this sport was inexpensive. HA.
-You could see yourself running until you’re 105.
-It’s added so much awesomeness to your life…and you just want to share the awesomeness with everyone else too.
Share what you love about this awesome sport of running!
AND when your blog name is The Dancing Runner!
HAHA well yeah… 😉
Hah yes to almost all of these!!! Love it!!
heehee glad you could relate!
Ha! I thoroughly enjoyed this! My co-workers first question of the day is how many miles did you run this morning? And you know you’re a crazy runner when you enjoy all.the.food. without regret. ;-)after 20 milers: so how many bowls of ice-cream does that equate to?!
HA! Yep…the ‘how many miles’ is always the other question of the day!!
#truth to all of this! my husband said no travel races next year so we can go somewhere that doesnt involve running lol…you know you have a problem when 😉
Oh no! Now that’s a serious problem!! LOL!
Haha, my husband refers to himself as a “running widower” sometimes. During training season, I’m up and out of the house before he’s up on the weekend, I’m usually napping in the afternoon and you know I can’t stay up late because I have a long run the next morning! Poor guy. 🙂 He’s a good sport about it, though.
Funny!
10 miles on a Tuesday before work sounds great but I know I will never pull that off!
I used to say things like that…bahahaha!!!
All true.
Also, laundry.
Word!
Yes to all of the above, great list and totally true!
It’s such a great addiction though I have to admit!
so true…your blog is a great vitamin,
So kind! Thank you!!
Yes!! All my vacations have become RUN-Cations
Love it! Same 😉
I love this! I can pretty much agree with everything you wrote. Running is always awesome and I just want to talk about it with everyone. And the first thing everyone asks me is “When is my next race?”
haha…YES!! LOVE!
Omg your so cool! OK I’m younger than you and ANY TIME I tell my friends that I woke up at 6:00 AM to go for a run, they look at me like I have plants growing out of my head! I love how much you run more people should run cross country it’s so good for you!!! Keep on running!!!
Awesome girl! Keep at it…so good to develop those healthy habits when you’re young, it will def carry on into your 20s, 30s & beyond 🙂
