TGIFriday Faves.

Happy Cinco de Mayo to you! Hope you all are having a fabulous Friday so far. Let’s get to this week’s faves, shall we?

-Making lemon garlic hummus from scratch for the first time. As I told you my neighbor is a fantastic cook so he’s been showing me the ropes in the kitchen. It was fantastic with those veggies. Yum yum.

-Discovering new hidden trails on the run this week. Love playing Dora the Explorer.

-Of course an amazing time at this Dallas Fitness Ambassadors event. And this acro yoga pose which I plan on trying out in the near future.

The craziest things runners do to round off a run. Oh I am the most guilty at running in circles anywhere to reach desired mileage. All about those numbers.

-Tart cherry kombucha. Love love.

Have a great weekend!

What were some of your faves from this week?

  1. I’m actually watching KUWTK while reading this post, which I find terribly ironic. Also, LOVE Kevita! And that hummus sounds to die for!

      1. I was telling DJ I need to learn to make it because store bought hummus is so pricey! I had the BEST hummus of my life from a little family owned Greek restaurant in Monterey last weekend- there’s a little review in my recent post, but anyway – if you are in the area you MUST try it! It’s pure heaven. Also- I have a question- how long is a standard ultra ? Is it one race or a series of races ? I’m genuinely thinking about signing up for one!

      2. 50k is just a few miles more than a marathon- 31 something miles and a stepping stone to a 50 miler, 100 miler etc. Id recommend starting there definitely search 50ks near you and do one!! I have no doubt you’d love it!
