Happy Monday to you! Hope your day is wonderful so far. I am here to recap last week’s running – 77.1 miles of smiles! Let’s recap it all, shall we?
Monday AM- 8.2 miles at 7 something a.m. after sleeping in just a bit. Mondays are always a little rough to get up and get it in early. But I still made it happen.
Monday PM- 3.05 miles after teaching spin at the gym. Sunset runs are absolutely the best. Very relaxing after a manic Monday.
Tuesday AM- 11.03 miles at 5 a.m. with the run club crew. Wearing fly kicks in the morning is oh so necessary.
Tuesday PM- 3.21 miles, a little evening jaunt by the lake. I always enjoy looping the lake to see all of the cute doggies and such. I threw in a few strides at the end to push the pace a bit.
Wednesday- 10.02 solo miles, thankfully I was able to get up a little bit earlier to knock this one out. Did not do a double run on this day. It felt a little strange. HA.
Thursday AM- 12.26 miles with my Irving Running Club early birds. I ran a few with a friend and then some since I had a little extra time on my hands. It was humid as all get out on this day. Texas weather has been a little bipolar lately. So ready for fall.
Thursday PM- Tired legs, 4.11 miles. The humidity was thick and I felt pretty sluggish. Got it in though.
Friday- REST DAY
Saturday- 15.02 early miles. Scaling back the miles a bit. I had a packed day that day so it felt good to knock this one out and still have some energy left for the remainder of the day.
Later – Grapefest vino festival & lunch with my homegirl Natalie. Good times indeed.
Sunday AM- 7.21 miles in 90 degree weather. Thankful for a little shade.
And also thankful for brunch. Yes yes.
Sunday PM- 3.02 evening miles. Seriously sweaty.
And there you have it!
How was your weekend? Is it starting to feel like fall where you are?
It felt like fall for about a week and my running LOVED it. Then that feeling went away and I suffered quite a bit on my last long run. I’m over summer.
So over it!!! Lol
Great job! I’m impressed you run twice a day, especially in heat and humidity! It’s definitely Fall here now and I’m enjoying it for my runs!
Ohhh so jelly! Heat/humidity training has definitely made me a tough cookie! Fall in Texas can’t come soon enough!
You and your double runs. LOL Nice job with your mileage. I did a long run over the weekend to explore Boston while I was there. It was awesome.
I bet it was amazing! Have a fantastic week, sweet girl!!
Amazingly as always!
Thx love!
Oh my, I can’t believe you are about to run your race!!! You rocked the training and I can’t wait to see you rock that race!!
Thank you for the encouragement girl!! 🙂 I am really super excited!!
