Weekly Running Report.

Hey there! Happiest of Mondays to you. I’m here to recap last week’s miles as well as some weekend fun! Hope you had a marvelous & relaxing weekend.

Let’s get to it!

Monday AM- 5.11 morning miles. Sleeping in was so glorious. Last week I was pretty beat all week long after running the 100k trail ultra. I guess running 62 miles on rough terrain will do that do ya. LOL.

Monday PM- 2.03 quick miles before I taught class at the gym. Testing out some sweet new kicks. I am absolutely loving the new Brooks Levitate.

Tuesday AM- 7.21 solo miles to the tune of a lovely sunrise. Best way to start the day.

Tuesday PM- 3.02 chill miles around the lake. Ending the day on a relaxing note.

Wednesday AM- 8.11 lunch time miles. It felt good to wait until the middle of the day to knock this one out. I’ve been missing running with the sun lately.

Wednesday PM- 3.21 miles with some strides thrown in, 7:58 pace. Finally starting to feel like myself again.

Thursday AM- 10.02 miles with the Irving Running Club. Spiced butter rum coffee afterwards was the true icing on the cake.

Thursday PM- 2.02 evening miles on some tired legs. The humidity was pretty thick last week too.

Friday- Typically a rest day for me, but I got in 5.11 very easy low key miles. Funny how running 5 miles seems like zero nowadays. Kind of like an active recovery day.

Saturday- 16.26 absolutely lovely long run miles. With my favorite clouds in the sky. It was a great day to be out and about. We had sunshiney weather all weekend long.

Sunday- 10.12 miles after sleeping in again. Running with the sun is always fun. It was almost 90 degrees again. Gotta love that in October, right?! I guess Texas still thinks it’s summer. Go home Texas, you’re drunk.

Good pool day though. I wrapped up Sunday chillaxin by the pool. Absolute heaven.

And there you have it!

How was your weekend? Did you get some chill time in?

    1. 🙂 Seriously, rest up and feel better!! Stay off social media if you have to. I know not being able to RUN is hard mentally for some of us!! Do what you need to do to take care of yourself. Sending good vibes, lady!!

  1. Wow! After 62 miles, I don’t think I’d be able to walk, let alone get all the miles run (even if there was a week of rest!) Spiced Butter rum coffee?! I’d definitely run a few miles for that!
