Happy Monday to ya! Hope you had a marvelous weekend. Mine was definitely lovely – lots of running and fun in the sun! I was able to get in 70.8 miles of running last week. Let’s do a recap and see how it all went down!!
Monday AM- 6.32 miles at lunch, the sunshine was absolute perfection. Nice little break from the busy work day.
Monday PM- 3.03 miles after teaching class at the gym, getting that double run day in.
Tuesday- Back with my morning run crew, 10.18 miles done. Love getting in all those miles before 7 AM.
Wednesday- 7.22 early solo miles around the lake, enjoying the view.
Thursday (BIRTHDAY RUN DAY!!)- I took the day off from work, yes, to run ALL MORNING on my birthday. As most of you know I did a big birthday run last year as well so just continuing on with the tradition. Nice miles getting ready for my 50 miler coming up soon. I started this run with some runner friends who ran with me before they went to work then kept running til lunchtime. Got it done!!
Friday- REST DAY
Saturday- 10.07 miles with Tiff. Just girl chat miles and enjoying the breezy springtime temps.
Sunday- REST DAY – kick it by the pool time all weekend long!! The weather was absolutely amazing.
And there you have it!!
How was your weekend? Do you run your age on your birthday?? (minutes, miles – all of it counts!! Ha.)
OMG – the image is so beautiful, your lines is energetic and motivational – wishing you a splendid week!!
Thanks so much!!
Happy birthday! That’s f-ing amazing that you can just crank out 34 miles like that. Hope you have another great week!
As a matter of fact, I wrote a blog post about it – like to hear it here it go!! https://thedancingrunner.com/2018/04/30/birthday-run-and-34-lessons-in-34-years/
Your average week crushes my best week. I’m always impressed.
LOL, thanks!! It’s taper time, gross 🙂
I didn’t know you were even familiar with the word “taper” haha.
I hate it! Well sometimes I love it, mostly hate! But my body will thank me when it’s time for this FIDDY 🙂 🙂
I had never heard of running your age on your birthday. I don’t think I would be able to get all those miles in during daylight as my birthday is in December! I’ll have to come up with another way to celebrate – maybe that many minutes of running LOL
Love that, sweetness!! xo
