Weekly Running Report.

Hi, hey and hello there! Hope your Monday is wonderful so far! I’m here to recap some miles from last week’s training!! I don’t know about you but I feel like this summer is just flying by. My next marathon will be here before you know it!! Anyway, let’s get straight to it.

Monday- 4.22 miles before teaching a spin class. It was already crazy hot and humid out, so just getting some more heat training in. And also getting the legs moving after the busy day at the full time job. Mondays are always so crazy busy that way.

Tuesday AM- 10.32 miles of hills with my run club. Ahh hill repeats, I do love to hate you. Great for leg strength though. I actually really do love me some hills even when my legs are tired. Give me the hills over flat roads any day.

Tuesday PM- 3.37 miles after the gym. Watching the sunset…and ending on a 7:40 pace. I will take it.

Wednesday AM- 7.32 solo miles around the lake. Quite peaceful and of course doing a little early morning people watching.

Wednesday PM- 5.15 miles with WRRC. We actually did a hot run in the sun and then some restorative yoga after. I absolutely needed that. Good times with good people.

Thursday AM- 8.22 early miles not really feeling it but got it done. The humidity was sky high that day too. It was all week really. Still getting acclimated here somewhat.

Thursday PM- 5.22 miles in the evening. Just working on hitting those numbers.

Friday- 6.33 miles. Running on my usual rest day – just switching things around a bit, but feeling good feeling great.

Saturday- 20.12 miles with WRRC. This run was CRAZY humid, cooler in the morning but warmed up quickly. That was a rough one but I felt like it was definitely good for me from a mental standpoint. Got it done.

Sunday- REST DAY. Celebrating Father’s Day with my awesome papa! I drove down to Houston (about a 4 hour drive from Dallas) and we ate the BEST shrimp & seafood gumbo I’ve ever had in my entire life. I want some more right about now.
