Random Thoughts Thursday.

Hello and happy Thursday to ya! Of course this is the day where we dish on the randomness plus rant and rave about all things running and non running related. Let’s get straight to it!

–I have to say this past week has been the most festive fun I’ve had with run buds in a while. Yesterday I went out with my Weds night social run group and probably stayed out a little too late but loved seeing all of the Halloween costumes. I wore my unicorn mask and had a good ole time.

–Is it too early to start buying all of the Christmassy things? I spotted the cutest fleece type sweaters with fun sayings on them to add to the collection. From Wal-mart for under 10 bucks. SCORE.

–So lately for some odd reason I feel like I’ve been seeing more ragey drivers at 5 AM during my runs. I am not sure why people are so IN A HURRY at 5 in the morning either. Like probably any way you slice it you will be early to wherever you have to go. So calm the heck down. Thank you.

–I also kind of want to start pulling out the pink Christmas tree but I realize that its FAR TOO EARLY. I think just seeing Christmas things in the store is getting me hype about my favorite holiday. Yes, Christmas is my favorite holiday aside from mardi gras.

–Speaking of mardi gras I wore my Galveston Marathon shirt for my run this a.m. and it brought back memories from 6 years ago. Go back in time here if you want to read all about it. It is #throwbackthursday after all.

–I keep forgetting how there are a few things going on this weekend and I feel like I am overbooked…do you ever get that way? Like there are so many fun things going on and you want to just go to ALL OF THE recreational THINGS but um you cannot because it is a lot? Maybe I should just clone myself. Good thought.
