Hi there! Hope you’re having a wonderful Monday so far! Of course I’m here to recap some miles with you! I was able to get in 85.7 miles last week!! Ultra training definitely has its ups and downs but for the most part it it going GREAT! Let’s see how it all went down.
–Monday AM- 10.23 miles in the AM with a friend followed by a BUSY Monday. It is always nice to get big miles in at the start of the week though.
–Monday PM- 3.2 miles after teaching class at gym. Double run day done.
–Tuesday AM- 8.35 miles of hill repeats are always a good time. The weather was pretty decent last week though with a slight chill in the mornings and not a ton of rain so we got lucky.
–Tuesday PM- 3.38 miles at lunch. There was a lot of stress work wise so I needed the lunch time stress relief
–Tuesday NIGHT RUN- I’ve been wanting to practice my night miles! Especially since a lot of Brazos Bend 100 will be in the dark I need to get used to my night vision running. 5.03 miles done for some TRIPLE RUN DAY action.
–Wednesday AM- 6.03 hump day miles with my buddy followed by some chocolate milk therapy.
–Wednesday PM- 4.07 wet Halloween lunch miles. Typical Texas out of nowhere downpour.
–Thursday- 10.32 miles early morning with some strides at the end. We had some decent early morning weather, nice and cool so perfect for going a little faster at the end.
–Friday- 10.03 blissful miles with my neighbor with a stunning sunrise.
–Saturday- Long run Saturday with the WRRC crew. 21.1 miles done. And I am thankful for post run breakfast tacos and mimosas. Afterwards I got cleaned up and did a little college football tailgating…always fun.
–Sunday- 4.02 miles in the evening…daylight savings brought in some pretty colors in the sky. Love.
And there you have it!
How was your week in running last week? Tell me something random about your day today.
It was about 50 degrees for this morning’s run and the HIGH TODAY IS 80 DEGREES. Gotta love it. Texas you are so bipolar.
Wow! Great job! You have such an impressive training routine! I hope you will have a wonderful week! Happy Running!

top ultra training, for sure. Again, that last photo is beautiful.
Random fact: I just finished rewatching Forrest Gump. Parts at the end made me cry.

Your training looks awesome. Hope to meet you at BB100. I’ll be running the marathon, but I plan to stick around and pace afterwards. Have a great week!
Great! See you there!!
Damn that is some impressive mileage! Something random… I ate WAY too much food today and really every day since Sunday’s marathon but I don’t care this week!
