Happy Monday! Things are busy in my neck of the woods (& I am actually recovering from a 50K race I did yesterday! Ya know, NBD) but thought I would drop in to share some of last week’s miles with you! I was able to get in 71.6 miles last week. Woohoo! Let’s see how it all went down.
Monday AM- 4.22 miles in the a.m. Temps were chilly in the beginning of the week last week but pleasant. So just a little jaunt on the lake before the busy work day.
Monday PM- 3.02 miles after teaching a class at the gym. Getting the double run day in for the day.
Tuesday- 8.13 solo miles listening to some Spotify jams. If you are looking for some good running music check out some of my playlists on there btw. I use them for spin class mostly but I guarantee you will find something to fit your run mood.
Wednesday AM- 7.23 miles after the gym. The sun started coming out later on in the week. Sunshine runs equal a happy Chelsea.
Wednesday PM- 3.02 sunset miles. Love running sunrise to sunset. Legs were feeling good so I did some faster miles and threw some strides in there.
Thursday- 8.24 miles back with the breakfast run club. Threw some rolling hills in there for good measure.
Friday- 6.32 miles. Last run before Sunday’s 50k!
Saturday- REST DAY. And enjoyed some phenomenal brunch with the ‘rents.
Sunday- Cowtown Ultra 50k day!! Those of you who have been around a while know that I’ve been an official PACER for this race the last few years. So I paced the 50k distance with my pace buddy.
We had a good ole time, laughing, meeting people and enjoying some pretty fantastic racing weather. Recap to come.
