Hi there and happy MILEAGE Monday! I’m checking in with y’all and also wanting to do a quick recap from last week’s workouts! I was able to get in 72.3 miles of running last week!! It was a great week indeed with some back to back long runs included. Let’s recap and see how it all went down!
Monday- 8.34 miles in the evening time. I always kind of have to ease back into the work week after my weekend long runs. So it felt good to get the legs moving after a long day of work.
Tuesday AM- Back to some double run days! 8.03 miles in the morning solo on the lake. Did some people watching. Great way to start the day. And the weather was starting to get pretty pleasant out.
Tuesday PM- Lovely lunch time miles! I love lunch runs especially on a nice day. 4 miles done and then quick shower and back to work.
Wednesday AM- 8.36 miles in the morning with friends. They usually do a loop around the neighborhood and then I add on at the end to get to my desired mileage. We did a few faster miles thrown in the middle.
Wednesday PM- 3.34 mies in the evening after work. Just a quick lake loop. But got another double run day in for the day.
Thursday- 8.12 a.m. miles with some hills thrown in there. I also taught a class at the gym that evening.
Friday- 16.02 mile Friday morning long run! Fridays, long running and coffee are probably a few of my favorite things.
Saturday- Back to back long run FUN!! I had to teach a spin class at the gym at 10 a.m.- so got this one done early with WRRC. 16.12 miles done.
Then celebrated a friend’s birthday at Lake Lewisville. Temperatures were in the 70s on Saturday and beautiful and sunny! What a great day and night it was with friends.
Sunday- REST DAY. A much needed one at that.
And there you have it!
How was your weekend? Do anything fun?
Epic week, well done!
Thanks so much!!
Nice job getting the miles in! I love how it seems like you just fit your miles in wherever you can, at different times each day. This week was an awesome week for running! https://runningmybestlife.com/half-marathon-training-diaries-week-7/
LOL well I am a morning runner at heart who often runs TWICE a day due to ultra training. You do what you have to do when you are training for a 50 mile or 100 mile race. Thanks for visiting!!
