Weekly Running Report.

Hey there and happy Monday to ya! Hope you have some fun in store for the week. Last week’s running workouts were awesome and I was able to get in 85.7 miles in!! So, training is going well leading up to my next ULTRA race- the Hachie 50 miler!

Let’s recap and see how it all went down.

Monday AM- 5.26 miles (with faster strides) after teaching a crazy early spin class! It was dark and rainy but nice to see a different route in the morning. Got it done and out of the way.
Monday PM- 5.03 miles after the 9 to 5 job. The weather in Texas overall has been beautiful and finally spring is starting to make an appearance in a major way! So I loved watching the sunset on double run day.
Tuesday AM- 7.11 splendid (and hilly) lunch miles. I used my entire lunch break for this run but it was hashtag worth it. Love.
Tuesday PM- 3.21 miles at night and can I just say how much I am LOVING the extra daylight in the evenings? I really think it has been doing something for my mood. I am a lover of sunshine what can I say. Fun fact I even have a SUN tattoo. So maybe that is why?
Wednesday AM- Lots of double run day miles last week. 5.11 miles at lunch with the sunshine. Thankfully I have a gym next door to where I work so that’s real convenient for these lunch runs.
Wednesday PM- 5.22 miles at night doing some people watching to get double digits in for the day. I was on a roll.
Thursday- Back running with the breakfast run club! 10.12 miles of rolling hills.
Friday- Back to back long run fun!! I decided to do my 21 miler on Friday since I had some St. Patrick’s Day celebrating to do on Saturday. I am in LOVE with Friday long runs. It definitely brings new energy into one of my favorite days of the week. 21.33 miles done.
Saturday- 17.03 miles done with my Saturday long run crew, White Rock Running Co-Op. A few of us ran long and then went to the St. Patrick’s Day parade after. All green everything.

Sunday- Sunday was an absolutely gorgeous day! Everyone was out and about since temps wee in the 60s and 70s. Quick 6.31 miles to hit my numbers for the week.

And there you have it! Plus a #selfie, just because.

How was your weekend? Did you do any St. Patrick’s Day celebrating?
Not a ton of partaking in the adult beverages for me this year. Running high mileage makes you kind of an old lady. But I like it like that. Still had fun.

  1. Wow! Great mileage this week. You run a LOT of miles! Way to go. The only celebrating I did for St. Patrick’s Day was at my 5-year-old grandson’s birthday party. It was a lot of fun! 🙂
