Weekly Running Report.

Happy Monday! We are here to recap some miles from last week! It was quite a strong week of training for me – I was able to get in just over 71 miles of running! Woohoo for that. Let’s recap and see how it all went down.

Monday- Morning miles and all smiles with a friend in the ‘hood! 7.21 miles done watching the sunrise.
Tuesday AM- 10.12 miles enjoying the cool breeze. I was craving some solo miles and this was just what I needed. Threw some rolling hills in there.
Tuesday PM- 2.21 miles in the evening doing some people watching after teaching a spin class. Felt good to get a double run day in.
Wednesday AM- 5.32 miles, super thick humidity on this morning so listened to a podcast, sucked it up and got it done
Wednesday PM- Lunch miles – needed to get away from the office for a bit to go play. I found a smooth surface did some barefoot running, y’all! It was kinda fun. 2.22 miles at lunch.
Thursday- 8.11 miles with my run club. They pushed me for a few miles which felt good since some of them had a tempo day.
Friday- 8.32 miles, threw in a few strides there. Getting a good morning run in on Fridays always makes the day better. I actually had to work late this day too so was so glad I was able to get this run in early.
Saturday AM- Long run Saturday was HUMIDITY CENTRAL. 15.22 miles, after running some 20 milers the last few weekends and back to back stuff. I am so over this Texas humidity/heat frankly and need it to cool down in a major way. Even running with friends I was just over it before it even began. But, well. It got done.
Saturday PM- I had a really low key Saturday and wanted to get back out to shake out the legs. 2.31 miles done. It felt better outside without the sun blazing and the humidity went down a bit.
Sunday- I had a friend who needed Sunday miles which was great for me and got me up early to knock out 10.12 miles. Awesome because it allowed me to hit my numbers and get it all in.

Plus brunch with friends on the harbor for Sunday funday runday.
