Weekly Running Report.

Hello there and happy Monday! Hope you had an awesome weekend. Let’s recap some weekly miles, shall we? I was able to get in just over 50 miles for the week – a bit of a cut back week for me actually as of late! Let’s see how it all went down.

Monday- 5.23 evening miles enjoying doing some people watching. I made this a bit of a progression run so it felt good to move faster after resting the legs the previous day. Currently I’m not really training for anything (as mentioned in the last few posts) so right now my running is more for maintenance. I do have my eyes on some ultras in 2020 and perhaps a marathon. But at the moment the off season is super nice. I still really also feel like I’m still recovering from my 100k PR.

Tuesday AM- 8.12 miles with some hill repeats thrown in there. Solo miles in the early morning dark but felt good to knock it out.

Tuesday PM- 2.22 miles after teaching spin to get in the double run day. It still feels good to do the double running every once in a while especially after a stressful day so I’ve been throwing them in there still. Not as often as when I’m training for something serious but nice little moving meditation.

Wednesday AM- 7.12 relaxed miles and loved all of the colorful fall leaves. Definitely loving the crisp fall mornings as of late.

Wednesday PM- 3.02 double run day miles – evening run with the city lights.

Thursday- 8.3 miles back at it with the breakfast run club. I’ve been doing a ton of solo runs so honestly just having company on the run lately is super nice and definitely pushes me to move faster.

Friday- 6.31 miles with a faster finish. I had Friday off so it was lovely ‘sleeping in’ a bit before the run. Definitely put some pep in my step to start the run later than usual.

Saturday- 10.22 miles catching up with great run pals. Felt good to get up and hit up the lake on a gorgeous morning. Plus post run mimosas always make things a little sweeter.

Sunday- REST DAY. Absolutely lovely and oh so needed.

And there you have it!

How was your weekend? Any holiday races coming up??
Doing my ‘Chelsea Trot’ then the Jingle Bell Run which will totally be a FUN run.
