Hey there and happy Monday! Hope you had a marvelous weekend. I am here to recap some miles from last week! Let’s review and see how it all went down.
Monday- 5.31 early morning miles. It is always tough to get my act together on a Monday morning after the weekend but I made it happen. Mondays are always recovery days for me but I had a bit of a pep in my step since I’ve been taking more rest (LAZY) days. Love that.
Tuesday AM- 7.33 mile hill run with my breakfast run club. Tuesday generally I’m ready to hit it hard so it felt so good to get up early and knock it out.
Tuesday PM- 3.02 miles after teaching a class at the gym. Triple threat Tuesday. Just doing some people watching on the lake.
Wednesday- 6.32 miles solo. We had some lovely crisp weather last week but it was pleasant so it almost felt like springtime. It has been patio type weather down in Texas. LOVE me some Texas weather in December.
Thursday- 8.12 miles back at it early with the club. I love when I’m able to get up early for some miles – it definitely puts a whole new energy into my day. Definitely still not training for anything at the moment – all of my runs have been for maintenance. But great keeping my fitness up and keeping things going.
Friday- I planned on putting in some more miles on this day but honestly my body was NOT feeling it (the beauty of NOT training for anything haha) so I got in another quick ‘maintenance’ run. 5.22 miles done.
Saturday- I actually had a ton of adulting things to do Saturday morning so had to squeeze this one in but I wanted a double digit run for sure so knocked it out. 10.21 miles done.
Sunday- Run streak week! Feeling so good now that I’m slowly getting my miles back up. 5.11 miles. And there you have it.
