Weekly Running Report.

Happy Monday! Hopefully you are having a great start to the week!! Let’s recap some miles from last week! I’m gearing up for another fun trail ultra oh so soon. Should be a good one!

Let’s see how it all went down!

Monday- 4.22 miles at lunch. I love how running at lunch puts a whole new energy into the 2nd part of my day. Plus I felt a little faster towards the end.

Tuesday AM- I’ve been slowly adding back in some double run days since my last big run and starting to feel like myself again. I did 4.32 miles at lunch before washing up at the gym and heading back to work. I’ve also been running during different time of the day which keeps things interesting. Although I will always and forever have love for the morning run.

Tuesday PM- 2.21 miles at night after teaching a class at the gym. Pretty uneventful but it got done.

Wednesday AM- Back to doing some morning running! 5.31 miles doing some people watching on the lake. We had springtime temps all week last week which was lovely. But as I always say Texas weather is bipolar so we had up and down temps and then it got cold again at the end of the week. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

Wednesday PM- 4.12 miles after work. Also, tye dye leggings for the win.

Thursday AM- 4.20 miles early morning. Absolutely was not feeling it but it did turn my mood around to get out there and get it done. Kind of amazing how that all works.

Thursday PM- 2.22 miles after teaching spin. Running on tired legs with a faster finish.

Friday- 5.21 miles with an ALMOST coyote sighting! Actually a fellow neighbor/runner warned me that the coyote had just crossed paths with him and to watch out so I redirected. HA. And definitely picked up the pace a bit to avoid said coyote.

Saturday- 12.11 miles with running buds. Colorful kicks and good miles with good buddies.

Sunday- Run streak for the week! 7.21 miles recovering after a fun Saturday night. Felt like a great detox.

  1. We had a freakishly warm January weekend (high of 67F) so I had a wonderful run this weekend. Well . . . there were too many people in Central Park though. You know that I gotta stay on hater mode. 😉

    1. Awesome! Yeah we are back to the 60s (and 70s!) this week. Saturday’s run wasn’t so bad – it did snow for a bit (!) as I was finishing. But we never really experience snow in TX so it was kind of fun.
