Hey y’all. It is freaking Friday!! I don’t know about you but I need me some weekend. Just some work-free FREE time to unwind and such! Of course I will be getting out for some running. And I’ve got recipes I will be trying in the kitchen! Quarantine and chill style. Trying to make the most of it all.
Let’s get to this week’s faves!
–The best virtual cooking classes for every budget. Loving this concept.
–How one essential stretch can improve your running. All about this.
–Of course I’m all about the virtual happy hours. Already planning the next one.
–The highlight of my week was of course getting into the Marine Corps Marathon for the 5th time in a row. Hoping fall marathons will even happen after all of this crazy. At least I will have a 26.2 on deck and be ready.
–And here’s your Friday funny. If you’ve not seen Tiger King yet you’d better get to it.
Have a great one!
Do you have any virtual happy hours planned this weekend? What’s your favorite running stretch?

That is a good stretch! You should also do the cow faced yoga pose (leg part only) which is great to prevent IT band issues!
IT band stretches are very important. Glad you enjoy that one!! Hope you have a great weekend!
congrats! See you at the starting line of the MCM! I love my local race.
I was invited to a couple of virtual happy hours (even a virtual birthday party), but then I was like nah. Perhaps, this feeling will change the longer than we are in quarantine.
LOL!! Well you’ve got the bew to have a real happy hour with!!
That is true – my bu and I. Hopefully, we will not get on each other nerves. The other day, I almost said to him – Ummmmmm, why do you breathe like that. Rather than being evil, I decided to take an nap instead.
The couch stretch is a good one! I love/hate it.
I’m not the best stretcher, but I usually go with what I call the big 3: Downward dog, child’s pose, and pigeon pose. My pigeon is pathetic though haha.
