Happy Monday! It’s a good week to have a good week. Let’s recap the miles from last week!! We’ve had some lovely cloud cover and breezy mornings – nice little (sort of) cool down from the blazing hot temps. And when I say cool down I mean temps in the low 90s. Ha.
Monday- 4.21 miles winding down from the busy work day. Went a little faster towards the end than expected considering that it was a warmer day.
Tuesday AM- 4.02 morning miles around the lake. I love quiet mornings when I am not dodging strollers and doggies and people.
Tuesday PM- 3.30 progression miles on double run day. Just trying to find as much shade as possible.
Wednesday- 5.12 hump day miles in the afternoon. Harder effort pushing it a bit just for kicks.
Thursday AM- 7.11 early morning miles with the breakfast club. Rolling hills.
Thursday PM- 3.02 miles to get over 10 miles in for the day.
Friday- Active recovery run after double run day. 4.31 miles in the AM.
Saturday- 10.22 miles with my White Rock Running Co-op. Faster miles in the middle. We had lots of cloud cover and although it was pretty humid it made for a good run.
Sunday- RUN STREAK WEEK! Finished things off with 4.01 Sunday funday runday miles for the win.
And there you have it! 45.37 miles done – a bit of a boost from last week’s recovery miles.

How beneficial is the double run days? I have just started running back to back days, but I’ve rarely done it twice within 24 hours.
