Happy Monday to ya! Hope it is great one so far. Let’s recap some miles and smiles from last week!
I’ve been maintaining some lower-ish miles while I try to figure out my purpose in life. HA. Actually it is just nice to not have a major racing master plan right now. Working on it though…
Let’s get into it!
Monday- 5.11 sunset miles after the busy work day. Much needed and legs felt pretty fresh. Even ran faster than my usual Monday recovery run.
Tuesday- 5.22 miles with a few slight hills. Was just in a hill climbing mood that day and found some rollers to get things going.
Wednesday AM- 6.31 miles in the AM. The most glorious of sunrises.
Wednesday PM- 3.02 miles in triple digit temps. It was a nice little form of torture. Over 15k miles total for the day.
Thursday AM- 6.37 miles with my breakfast run club. Rolling hills to start the day.
Thursday PM- 2.05 quick miles at lunch to break up the work day. Triple digit temps again so this was a bit of heat training.
Friday- 4.12 miles to crank up the day. Was not feeling this run at all but it got done.
Saturday- Went out n the patio for dinner Friday evening with friends, so ended up having a lazy Saturday. 3.03 miles at lunch just to say I got it done.
Sunday- Full day of REST after running all week long. Breakfast tacos for the win.
And there you have it!
How was your week? Tell me something random perhaps!
I need to get my nails done.
I’ve been on the low mileage tick over too! I’m taking it as maintaining a base until there’s events/races. I’m enjoying no pressure running 😂
Absolutely! Love how you think!!
Are you going to wait till an actual race is possible or are you looking to do something virtual?
I don’t know yet. I like to run 30 plus miles on my own for fun. So you stay tuned 😉
I’ve been on a two week hiatus due to illness. Tested negative twice for Covid. Had all the mild symptoms, though. Finally ran a 5k yesterday. It was rough. Will simply try to muddle through virtual MCM sometime in October!
Omg! Well I’m glad to hear you are feeling better!! 🙂
Thank you!
