Happy new week to you! Hope you all had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. And perhaps with someone you love or are quarantined with!! Or social distance style. I had a great week of running – I took the miles down after recovering from my 60 mile week! Let’s see how it all went down.
Monday- 5.21 relaxed miles after work. Still in recovery mode but enjoying the solo time. Picked up the pace a bit towards the end of my out and back sunset run.
Tuesday AM- Back to some double run day miles! 8.12 mile run doing a lake loop and then some.
Tuesday PM- 2.02 miles on double run day to get in just over 10.1 for the day.
Wednesday- 6.33 mile hill run! I really enjoyed these lunch time miles. Found some new hills to climb which helped to shake things up a bit.
Thursday- CHELSEA TROT miles!! I did 10.12 miles solo in my hood rocking out to some jams and did some rolling hills. I love doing me some double digit miles on Thanksgiving.
Friday- REST DAY. Rested the legs and recovered to get ready for some weekend running.
Saturday- 10.31 miles of sunrise. Faster finish was nice and legs felt so good after that rest day.
Sunday- 5.1 Sunday funday runday relaxed miles to hit my numbers for the week.
And I successfully completed the endurance challenge for November to get in well over 300k miles for the month! I actually exceeded the challenge on Thanksgiving Day. Running over 300k is the most mileage I’ve run since Feb so I’m feeling real good about that.
Let’s be friends on Strava if we are not already!
And there you have it!

How was your Thanksgiving? What was your favorite dish?!
Hands down cheesy potatoes and smoked turkey for the win.
