TGIFriday Faves.

Happy Friday to ya! Hope you have some good weather in your neck of the woods for the weekend! Things have made a beautiful turn here in Texas and it is basically spring. Cloud cover this AM for the run then the sun came out. Temps have been in the 60s and 70s all week! Woohoo for that.

Let’s get to the faves!

I went to the cutest little café / boutique this week and discovered what I have been missing all of my life HORCHATA LIP BALM. Guilty pleasure that is for sure.

3 towns for your next RUN-CATION. Providence is an interesting option. I do love me some California for running.

My sweet new kicks. I’ve been running WILD all week. These babies are oh so comfortable and my tootsies love them.

5 types of foods to never eat before a run. I agree with the fiber. NOT A FAN and my tummy gets mad but I do love me some simpler more bland snacks. If I eat at all. Toast with PB or AB.

Have a great (hopefully sunny) weekend!

Doing anything fun outdoors this weekend (besides running) perhaps some outdoor yoga?!! What do you eat before and/or after a run? Do tell!

  1. Getting married in my backyard this weekend! It’s supposed to be sunny and 66 degrees. Yay! I don’t usually eat anything before running. Everything upsets my stomach if I run more than five miles. Have a great weekend!

  2. Hoping to get a run outdoors, but if not, I’ll just run on my treadmill. If I’m running anything longer than 4 miles, I’ll eat a granola bar of some sort to keep my stomach not entirely empty.
