Hey there and Happiest of Fridays to ya! I’m so very ready for some Perpetual Motion! Come tomorrow your girl will be running ALL DAY with some ultra action. Can’t wait! Pray that the weather gods are good to us.
Let’s get to my faves from this week!
–How to fuel long runs with real food. I am actually a huge fan of this. Some of my favorites are the squeezable packets of applesauce (I am grabbing some today for tomorrow’s ultra), dried apricots and those dang medjool dates. Freaking love those.
–Setting boundaries around the holiday hoopla. So important especially during these crazy times we are living in.
–5 ‘good mood’ foods that boost serotonin and soothe stress. Salmon and eggs for the win.
–All of the Christmas lights along my running routes this week. Love that folks are getting into the spirit down in Texas.

Yesss give me all the salmon and all the eggs! Also dried apricot is such a great idea for runs- I love it but don’t think about them directly as fuel for runs, so thank you for the idea! Love your post as always! Hope your run went well 😊
