–I got my morning started with a jaunt in the ‘hood and playing a bit on the trails. Sunlight through the trees is all I need to get the day cranked up. Awesome dose of Vitamin D.
–I’ve been enjoying shaking things up with my free month from ClassPass! I love studio hopping and trying out different bootcamps/yoga/cycling spots. That I otherwise would not spend $200+ a month for. Yes, it is a great instructor perk to get amazing fitness amenities free of charge.
–I’m going to restorative PILATES tonight and I am kind of nervous doing some moves on the reformer! It has been on my bucket list for a while though. Bring it on.
–Running through Brazos Bend State Park not that long ago actually does have me hankering to do some more trail races. I will be putting more on the calendar in the coming months. Really still physically (and mentally) in recovery mode post 50k. I kind of missed taking time off from getting lost in the woods. I’ll have to pack up my Camelbak and take it back out to the dirt path soon and very soon.
–New Balance trail shoes – big fan. I mean we all know how much I love my Brooks but these shoes have been rocking my world both on the trails and on concrete. Trail shoes + skull leggings = happy Chelsea.
