Random Thoughts Thursday.

I got my morning started with a run + some strength work before a busy work day! Truly love when I have enough time in my crazy days to carve out all of my favorite workouts. Shiny bright pink shoes absolutely helps as well.

It is getting BLAZING hot out so I am back to acclimating to this Texas humidity! There is something about sweating a little extra this time of year though. Part of me thinks that it is good for the soul.

Last night I checked out another fitness studio thanks to Class Pass. A studio decorated with all of the beautiful plants, candles (and they had cold eucalyptus towels to cool off with?! Be still my heart.

It is getting to that time of year where I indulge in all of my fave summer fruits. I just bought some mangoes the other day and I have my eye on watermelon for this weekend.

I have not been indulging in pool time as much as I want to but I may have to change that at some point this weekend! Although someone actually complimented me on my TAN at work the other day. Haha…let’s start making that a thing.

Feel free to share some randomness from your week! Is it heating up where you are at?!

      1. It was extremely hot on Saturday (the day of the race). One person died from a heart attack right at the finish line, and I believe about 20 folks were hospitalized. Since this was our 1st day with 85+F weather, I do not think folks had a chance to acclimate to the warmer weather.

      2. Oh goodness! I’m sorry to hear that. It is real sticky here this morning, we’ve had rain off and on. Yesterday was a lovely abnormally cool 60 something degrees though so I enjoyed that along with the sunset! Doesn’t happen often in Texas so we take what we can get.
